At Bins, We Support our Community...

Being good neighbors and community helpers are important to us. There are opportunities to help in our communities and nation every day. These opportunities come in all shapes and sizes...from recycling to help our environment, to holding the door for an elderly person, to cleaning up beaches and ecosystems after an oil spill.

On Saturday, May 22nd Bins is participating in Roll On Columbus(http://www.rolloncolumbus.com/) at the LC Pavilion in the Arena District. The event was created to raise money for Nationwide Children's Hospital and for FUN for motorcycle enthusiasts! Check out the link as it seems that there is something for the entire family. And, as an added bonus, children 12 and under get in FREE. Be sure to stop by our Bins booth and say hi!

Bins is also supporting Nationwide Children's Hospital by hosting a DVD drop location for Kinder Key (http://www.nationwidechildrens.org/kinder-key. Kinder Key is the non-profit organization that supports families and young heart patients throughout their treatment at the Heart Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital. We have a DVD drop box in our lobby at 7455 Alta View Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43085. Simply stop by and deposit new or gently used DVDs in the container! DONE!

Do your part to help us with this cause! Ask your friends, neighbors, or family members to bring their used or new DVDs to you. You can be the point person to bring them to our office just north of 270 in the Worthington area. OR, organize your baseball team, youth group, scout troop, 4-H or swim team to participate in the DVD drive. ALL ways you can help make our community better.

ON DECK...we're gearing up to help all along the Pelotonia (http://pelotonia.org/ride/) route in August. WOW! This grassroots bicycling tour has grown substantially since its first ride last year. 100% of all money raised goes directly to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.

At Bins, we are very proud to help out our community in these and many other ways. What are you doing to support your friends and neighbors in the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area?
